‘Drawing Books’, 2013 – 2017
In 2014 I was invited to be a participant in the first Brew Drawing Circle. This project was established by Angela Brew and went onto become a global collaborative drawing project that had many realisations; drawing books, conferences, academic papers and book chapters and research initiatives – https://brewdrawingcircles.wordpress.com
My involvement in this project led me to set up the Coventry Circles in 2015 and subsequently to undertake research into collaborative drawing and to set up Drawing Conversations – a series of symposia, publications and exhibitions – https://drawingconversations.org/?s=drawing+conversations.org
Throughout 2016 and 2017 I worked with the Spanish artist Pilar Montero to create a set of collaborative drawing books which featured in the Drawing Threads exhibition.
I have co-edited two books :
Collective and Collaborative Drawing in Contemporary Practice: Drawing Conversations Jill Journeaux and Helen Gørrill
